J just had a cute idea. We were reading a mouse book with Ulli and Sabine, then J suggested we read Warrior Cats, but change it to a mouse story instead. So while reading, I substituted Maus for Katze, Mauserich for Kater and Mäusin for Königin, piepsen and quieken for miauen and maunzen, etc. It was fun! Whenever I missed the correct substitution J would chime in and correct me. This also led to some funny scenarios, such as the idea of mice hunting wild cheese in the forest.
