In the King Arthur audiobook this morning, one of the episodes was Gawain's dream of the bulls, adapted from Malory. As we were listening, J mentioned that he thought it was very similar to Pharaoh's dream in the Joseph story.
I was very impressed with this association, since it has been over two years since we have worked on that part of the bible (before our first "Sunday school" class). I probed him with a few questions, and it turned out remembered the story pretty exactly, including what the cows stand for.
